OTI at The World Export Development Forum 2019, Ethiopia

As one of the luckiest participants, Organic Trade and Investments (OTI) will have the opportunity to connect with potential business partners from across the globe in various business areas.

Ms. Joyce Ama Asante, the newly appointed Business Support Manager of the Company shared her thoughts with us on the matter:

“It’s going to be a very busy long week for us, as we’ve been scheduled to meet over 13 prospect buyers, who have shown interest in doing business with OTI. A lot is expected of us and we are going to do our best to meet everyone’s expectations.”

The WEDF seeks to bring together policymakers, trade experts, and business leaders to not only share their business experience but also network and do business.

From 21 to 22 November, as an integral part of the forum, a B2B event has been organized under the auspices of the African Union Commission, the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, and the International Trade Center (ITC).

The two-day business matchmaking event will bring together “companies of all sizes from across the globe engaged in the agricultural sector, linking producers and buyers, exporters and importers, commercial farmers and manufacturers.”

Ms. Esther Asante, the Managing Director of Organic Trade and Investments shows her appreciation to International Trade Center’s team:

“We are very grateful for ITC sponsoring our accommodation during the entire period of the event, from 18 to 21 November. OTI will use this opportunity to grow its business in new markets and as always, ITC’s support will not be overlooked.”

The week-long series of World Export Development Forum events is a contribution to Africa Industrialization Week, led by the African Union Commission’s Department of Trade and Industry.
